Antisocial Media Disorder

Updated: Jan 23, 2021

This is the restart of a life separated from social media. A few months ago, I ran an experiment by deactivating my social media accounts. It was liberating. Not only did it reveal a dependency and habitual behaviors, it revealed how it had changed my very online presence and personality.

Believing I had overcome these negatives, I signed back on to Facebook (I had deleted Twitter). I did well keeping it light and amusing and strictly dumping people who were negative and political. That worked for awhile...

Now the realization is how we have allowed sinister players on the world's stage way too much access and influence on our personal lives. So, I am done. I'll keep this site fresh and add new content as much as I can, but I am taking a much more active role in keeping in touch. No longer will I depend on the players who do not have my best interests in mind.

Drop me a line. I'd love to stay in touch...just not in the out of control social media world.
